The mission of the cinema department is to provide a platform for the creation, exhibition, and distribution of film and video content that reflects the diverse experiences and perspectives of our community. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for our students, audiences, and film enthusiasts, and to foster a sense of appreciation and understanding for the art of cinema.

Our goal is to raise a new generation of film professionals and art leaders in Central Asia, as well as to support and promote the work of emerging and established filmmakers, and to provide opportunities for audiences to engage with a wide range of film genres, styles, and cultures. We also seek to educate and inspire future generations of filmmakers and film lovers through educational programming, workshops, and special events.

As a cinema department, we are committed to showcasing the best in the contemporary and classic film, and to providing a space where the power and impact of cinema can be fully appreciated and enjoyed.
