Share to Care!

Work with Food Sharing to learn about the importance of food sharing and how their network operates in Bishkek. Students will then work in pairs to meet with cafe- and restaurant-owners to create a map of food donation points in Bishkek鈥檚 southern area.

This activity advances the UN Sustainable Development Goals #2 and #12. You can learn more about each of these below.

The activity will be held in Russian.

About the organization leading this session:

Launched in 2016, the Food Sharing Initiative is a volunteer network that uses to communicate and redistribute extra food with those living in hunger. The network currently has 2 organizing members and 5 volunteers. The network partners with local cafes and restaurants, which donate their food to help feed those in need.
