Peace and Conflict Studies Concentration is an interdisciplinary program that aims to educate students in the culture of peace and resolution of conflicts through offering them relevant theoretical knowledge and practical skills and experience.
An increasing diversity of the globalizing world, the migration of populations to different continents, the conflicts between ethnic groups in a state, the outbreaks of religious radicalism and nationalism, raise the issue of training the new generation of leaders in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia enable to promote intercommunal peace and tolerance, resolve intergroup and interpersonal conflictsto bring more peaceful and prosperous future.
